CHR03 series is a civil-grade impedance polymer humidity sensor (humidity sensitive resistor), which is coated on the ceramic substrate with conductive electrode by using polymer film. It forms a sensitive component whose impedance changes logarithmically with the change of relative humidity. The conductive mechanism is that the existence of water molecules affects the mobility of conductive ions in the high molecular film.

Note:When the component is used at -40ºC~85ºC, it needs to be calibrated at
high temperature, and the component shell needs to be made separately.
Precautions for using the product
1. Do not use DC power supply for components. Please use bridge impedance LCR test equipment when testing.
2. Avoid hard objects or fingers directly contacting the surface of the element to avoid scratching or polluting the sensitive film.
3. The temperature shall not be too high during welding (<180ºC, 2s film surface), and low temperature soldering iron or tweezers shall be used for protection.
4. Try to avoid direct use in the following environment: salt mist, corrosive gas: strong acid (sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid), strong alkali, organic solvent (alcohol, acetone, etc.).
5. Recommended storage conditions: temperature 10ºC-40ºC, humidity 20%RH-60%RH.
Application circuit recommendations
1.When you want to use an analog circuit, please change the humidity signal into a voltage signal output and ask the manufacturer for it.
2. 555 time base or RC oscillation frequency can be used for output, and the oscillation frequency is about 1KHz. (60% RH, 25ºC,we recommend using J-grade organic polymer capacitor with low temperature coefficient and accuracy of ±5%, such as polyester or polypropylene capacitor)
